He has been a board member of the ME Association in Rogaland since 2014 and was named Hero of the Year by the Norwegian ME Association in 2021. She has been chair of the board for more than 20 years and, together with Per, was named Hero of the Year in 2021. \u00c5se Marie was diagnosed with ME as a child and has been ill for almost 50 years. She contracted ME after dengue fever in 2015, and has previously worked for over 20 years in various administrative positions.
